I remember/Je souviens
Ram Dass raised the money to produce the book byt doing a lecture tour and everyone who paid got a copy of the book, the 12 inch tp and assorted other goodies. I attended,What's more he was staying with friends, so I was able to spend an evening with him. I did puja to him, I brought him some yogurt I had made. It was a long evenig and covered a lot of topics. He told us the true story behind he and Leary's firing from the Hrvard faculty.

Don't Forget the Sequel
"Be Here Now" is an excellent book, and I'd agree that it has changed my life as well. That is when I am able to follow it's principles. I wanted to put it out there though that there is actually a sequel to the book entitled "Still Here". I found it just as enlightening and would highly recommend it. - Boyelektric , posted 03/31/08

An extremely powerful manifestation of Truth
Namaste!! This book has completely changed my life, in so many ways. It put everything in perspective. It humbled me. It made me Realize the interconnectedness of Us All. It has quieted my mind. It has been a vehicle through which Neem Karoli Baba's Love has Graced Us All.

The words of Terrence McKenna reverberate back to me over and over and over; "the deeper you go, the bigger it gets". Truly, the deeper I delve into my consciousness, the bigger it gets. Be Here Now has been somewhat of a "Dick and Jane Learn To Read" introduction book to my Atman (seat of the soul). Spirituality 101.

I recommend this book to every person I can. It's so extremely beautiful.
